We are often asked what computer specs are needed for today's home or work computer environment. So, we have decided to put it down in short form for everyone's information:

Minimum Computer Specs as of 2023:


- Operating System (OS):
- Processor:
- Memory / RAM:
- Hard Drive:

 Windows 10, 64-bit (highly recommended - Home or Pro version)
Intel Core I5, 10th generation or higher (i.e. Intel Core I7, 10th generation)
8 GB or more
We HIGHLY recommended a Solid-State Drive (SSD) (as it has NO moving parts - this makes it faster and more durable than a regular hard drive). The size of the hard drive depends on your data needs, but typically a 256GB SSD or 512GB SSD hard drive is big enough


P.S. There are MANY other things to look for when buying a computer, but those other things are usually personal: Screen size, computer size, computer look and feel, do you need a CD/DVD drive, do you need a Memory Card Reader, Computer weight, battery life (for a laptop), Graphics Card for video intensive applications, Warranty, built-in camera, wireless capability, Bluetooth capability, available (USB) ports etc.
